The sub-genre of the episode is a crime drama.

The target audience for CSI is men in the 20+ bracket as it is about crime and the police force and this is the audience that would watch this type of show.
6. What was the narrative?
The narrative followed a clear structure. The beginning was a family being attacked by a hit man throwing grenades. The beginning followed the story of how the police investigated and found clues as to who did the crime. And the end was when the Miami Day Police found the culprit and arrested them, charging them of attempted murder. This drama is also based on real life and could happen…
