Blog Update - 08/02/11 - Sound
Today our group had to focus on the sound of our opening videos. On the left is a screen grab of the work we have done so far.
We corrected some of the levels of audio fro the video footage. We looked at GarageBand and we found a good sound of an audience cheering. I have put this in our sequence as the group is getting ready for the curtains to open. This works very well as is seems like there is a real audience sitting waiting for the dance show to begin.
We have also cut, cropped and re-arranged some of the footage in the middle of the fight scene and I have slowed down the slap scene to create effect and emphasis on the tension within the group. We have also changed the last part as I have cut the last piece of footage where we were in a room rehearsing. This is because it didn't quite fit and we have replaced it with a white frame with the "8 months later" text on the bottom. This looks better than the original end to the opening sequence.
